Precision programmable shunt regulator with adjustable output voltage from 2.5V to 36V using two external resistors. Features 2% initial tolerance at 25°C, low 0.2Ω output impedance, and sink-current capability from 1mA to 100mA. Ideal for on-board regulation, adjustable power supplies, and switching power supply feedback circuits with excellent temperature stability across industrial and automotive ranges.

Why does this need a breakout?
SOT-23's tiny 0.95mm pin pitch and compact form factor make hand-soldering tedious and prone to bridging errors. A breakout board breaks out the three pins to standard 0.1" spacing for breadboard prototyping, eliminating the need for specialized soldering equipment and enabling fast circuit iteration with transistors, diodes, and small-signal components.
