Adjustable precision shunt regulator with 0.5% reference voltage tolerance and programmable output from 2.495V to 36V using external resistor divider. Provides 1-100mA sink current capability with low output impedance (0.2Ω typical) and minimal temperature drift (9mV/0-70°C). Ideal for SMPS feedback loops, precision current limiting, and constant current sink applications.

Why does this need a breakout?
SOT-23's tiny 0.95mm pin pitch and compact form factor make hand-soldering tedious and prone to bridging errors. A breakout board breaks out the three pins to standard 0.1" spacing for breadboard prototyping, eliminating the need for specialized soldering equipment and enabling fast circuit iteration with transistors, diodes, and small-signal components.
