Design a Custom BoardHigh-speed CAN transceiver for automotive applications, providing differential transmit/receive interface between a CAN protocol controller and the physical two-wire CAN bus. Supports data rates up to 5 Mbps in CAN FD fast phase, complies with ISO 11898-2:2016, and operates with 3V to 5V microcontroller interfaces. Features improved EMC/ESD performance, thermal protection, and zero-load bus disengagement when unpowered.
An 8-pin SOIC with 1.27mm pitch is too fine for breadboards and hand-soldering without a microscope. A breakout board routes these pins to standard 0.1" headers, enabling rapid prototyping and reliable connections for op-amps, transceivers, and small power MOSFETs without requiring reflow equipment.
