Single-channel optoisolator with phototransistor output, featuring a GaAs infrared LED coupled to a phototransistor in a compact 4-lead SOP package. Rated for 1050V isolation with 70V collector-emitter voltage and 50mA maximum collector current. Ideal for switchmode power supplies, computer interfaces, and microprocessor system isolation applications.

Why does this need a breakout?
This 4-pin SOP photorelay is too small and tightly pitched (2.54mm) for reliable hand soldering or breadboard use. A breakout board brings the pins to standard 0.1-inch spacing, enabling rapid prototyping of optoisolated switching circuits without the frustration of soldering microscopic leads or dealing with isolation requirements.
