Operates from 1.65V to 5.5V on independent ports, enabling level shifting between 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V, and 5V logic families. Suitable for asynchronous communication between mismatched voltage rails in industrial and telecom applications.

Why does this need a breakout?
Hand-soldering 0.65mm pitch traces is difficult without proper equipment; a breakout board with standard 0.1in header spacing lets you breadboard-prototype and test these compact devices easily. Commonly used for I2C/SMBus I/O expanders and mixed-signal microcontrollers, this breakout eliminates fine-pitch soldering and allows rapid iteration during development.
