Design a Custom BoardMonolithic DC-DC converter control circuit supporting buck, boost, and inverting topologies with 1.5A output switch current. Features 2% reference accuracy, adjustable output voltage via external resistors, and operates from 3V to 40V input. Includes integrated temperature-compensated reference, comparator, oscillator with active current limiting, and high-current output driver for minimal external component count.
An 8-pin SOIC with 1.27mm pitch is too fine for breadboards and hand-soldering without a microscope. A breakout board routes these pins to standard 0.1" headers, enabling rapid prototyping and reliable connections for op-amps, transceivers, and small power MOSFETs without requiring reflow equipment.
