Design a Custom BoardThe MC14013B is a dual D-type flip-flop constructed with CMOS technology, featuring independent data, set, reset, and clock inputs with complementary outputs on each flip-flop. Operating from 3V to 18V supply, it supports static logic operations with edge-triggered clocking and can be used as shift register elements or toggle counters. This RoHS-compliant device provides diode input protection and TTL drive capability.
The 0.65mm pitch on this 14-pin package makes hand soldering tedious and error-prone without magnification and fine tools. A breakout board routes each pin to standard 0.1-inch headers, enabling breadboard prototyping and simplifying connections for LIN transceivers, ADCs, digital potentiometers, and microcontrollers that typically come in this footprint.
