Single-channel microprocessor supervisory circuit in SOT-23-3 package. Monitors supply voltage and generates reset signal when voltage falls below threshold. Typical threshold is 4.63V with active-low reset output. Ideal for protecting microcontroller power-up sequencing and brownout conditions.

Why does this need a breakout?
SOT-23's tiny 0.95mm pin pitch and compact form factor make hand-soldering tedious and prone to bridging errors. A breakout board breaks out the three pins to standard 0.1" spacing for breadboard prototyping, eliminating the need for specialized soldering equipment and enabling fast circuit iteration with transistors, diodes, and small-signal components.
