Design a Custom Board512-Kbit serial I²C EEPROM organized as 64K x 8 bits with 128-byte page write and additional identification page. Operates from 1.6V to 5.5V with clock frequencies up to 1 MHz, featuring configurable device address, software write protection, and hardware write-protect pin. Rated for over 4 million write cycles with 200-year data retention and ultralow standby current of 330 nA typical.
An 8-pin SOIC with 1.27mm pitch is too fine for breadboards and hand-soldering without a microscope. A breakout board routes these pins to standard 0.1" headers, enabling rapid prototyping and reliable connections for op-amps, transceivers, and small power MOSFETs without requiring reflow equipment.
