Design a Custom Board256-Kbit serial I2C EEPROM organized as 32K×8 bits with 64-byte page size. Supports 1 MHz, 400 kHz, and 100 kHz I2C bus modes with supply voltage from 1.7V to 5.5V. Features 5ms byte/page write times, >4M write cycles, 200-year data retention, and write-protect capability. Ideal for configuration storage and non-volatile data retention in embedded systems.
An 8-pin SOIC with 1.27mm pitch is too fine for breadboards and hand-soldering without a microscope. A breakout board routes these pins to standard 0.1" headers, enabling rapid prototyping and reliable connections for op-amps, transceivers, and small power MOSFETs without requiring reflow equipment.
