Low-dropout linear regulator supporting 2V to 30V input with 100mA output current. Configurable for fixed (3.3V, 5V) or adjustable (1.2V to 29V) output via external resistor divider. Features ±1% accuracy, 340mV typical dropout, integrated current limiting and thermal shutdown, suitable for industrial and automation applications.

Why does this need a breakout?
An 8-pin SOIC with 1.27mm pitch is too fine for breadboards and hand-soldering without a microscope. A breakout board routes these pins to standard 0.1" headers, enabling rapid prototyping and reliable connections for op-amps, transceivers, and small power MOSFETs without requiring reflow equipment.
