Low-dropout linear regulator with 800 mA output current available in adjustable configuration. Output voltage programmable from 1.25 V to 13.8 V using two external resistors. Features 1.2 V dropout at full load, ±1% output accuracy, current limiting, and thermal protection. Suitable for industrial power supplies, AC/DC converters, and servo control modules.

Why does this need a breakout?
SOT-223 three-pin regulators and transistors are difficult to hand-solder due to tight 1.5mm pitch and heat-sinking requirements. A breakout board brings standard 0.1" header spacing, eliminating soldering challenges and enabling immediate breadboard prototyping without rework or micro-soldering tools.
