Design a Custom BoardFixed-output 5.0V low-dropout (LDO) linear regulator with 1A maximum output current and typical 1.2V dropout voltage at full load. Provides ±2% output accuracy, integrated thermal shutdown, and current limiting protection. Suitable for battery-powered systems, portable electronics, and SMPS post-regulation applications from -40°C to 125°C.
SOT-223 three-pin regulators and transistors are difficult to hand-solder due to tight 1.5mm pitch and heat-sinking requirements. A breakout board brings standard 0.1" header spacing, eliminating soldering challenges and enabling immediate breadboard prototyping without rework or micro-soldering tools.
