Galvanically-isolated CAN FD transceiver meeting ISO 11898-2:2016 standard with support for classic CAN up to 1 Mbps and CAN FD up to 5 Mbps. Features ±58V DC bus fault protection, ±12V common-mode range, and 3000V RMS isolation barrier with SiO2 insulation. Suitable for industrial applications including drives, inverters, and battery management systems operating -40°C to +125°C.

Why does this need a breakout?
An 8-pin SOIC with 1.27mm pitch is too fine for breadboards and hand-soldering without a microscope. A breakout board routes these pins to standard 0.1" headers, enabling rapid prototyping and reliable connections for op-amps, transceivers, and small power MOSFETs without requiring reflow equipment.
