Low-power linear LDO regulator with 3.0V fixed output, rated for 100mA maximum output current. Accepts input voltages up to 30V with typical dropout of 100mV and ultra-low quiescent current of 2-3µA. Ideal for battery-powered and high-voltage applications including audio/video equipment, communications devices, and security monitoring systems.

Why does this need a breakout?
SOT-23's tiny 0.95mm pin pitch and compact form factor make hand-soldering tedious and prone to bridging errors. A breakout board breaks out the three pins to standard 0.1" spacing for breadboard prototyping, eliminating the need for specialized soldering equipment and enabling fast circuit iteration with transistors, diodes, and small-signal components.
