High-speed optocoupler combining a GaAsP LED with integrated photodetector, providing 3750V RMS isolation rating and 15kV/µs common mode rejection. Open collector Schottky-clamped output delivers TTL-compatible logic interfacing with 10 MBd typical data rate and 5mA input current requirement. Ideal for isolated line receivers, power supply control, motor drive isolation, and ground loop elimination in industrial applications.

Why does this need a breakout?
An 8-pin SOIC with 1.27mm pitch is too fine for breadboards and hand-soldering without a microscope. A breakout board routes these pins to standard 0.1" headers, enabling rapid prototyping and reliable connections for op-amps, transceivers, and small power MOSFETs without requiring reflow equipment.
