High-speed optocoupler combining a GaAsP LED and integrated photodetector with open-collector Schottky output. Provides 3.75 kV isolation with 15 kV/µs common-mode rejection and 10 Mbps data rate. TTL/LSTTL compatible with guaranteed operation from –40°C to +85°C, suitable for isolated logic interfaces, switching supplies, and motor drive isolation.

Why does this need a breakout?
An 8-pin SOIC with 1.27mm pitch is too fine for breadboards and hand-soldering without a microscope. A breakout board routes these pins to standard 0.1" headers, enabling rapid prototyping and reliable connections for op-amps, transceivers, and small power MOSFETs without requiring reflow equipment.
