1-Mbit ferroelectric RAM (F-RAM) with I2C serial interface operating up to 3.4 MHz. Features 100 trillion read/write cycles, 151-year data retention, and zero-delay writes without programming overhead. Low power consumption (175 µA active, 90 µA standby) with 2.0–3.6 V supply range, making it ideal for nonvolatile memory applications requiring high endurance and fast writes.

Why does this need a breakout?
An 8-pin SOIC with 1.27mm pitch is too fine for breadboards and hand-soldering without a microscope. A breakout board routes these pins to standard 0.1" headers, enabling rapid prototyping and reliable connections for op-amps, transceivers, and small power MOSFETs without requiring reflow equipment.
