Design a Custom BoardOmnipolar Hall effect magnetic switch in SOT-23-3 package that responds to magnetic fields from either pole. Operates as a digital switch, outputting low when magnetic field exceeds threshold. Commonly used in proximity detection, door/window sensors, and mechanical switch replacement applications requiring non-contact sensing.
SOT-23's tiny 0.95mm pin pitch and compact form factor make hand-soldering tedious and prone to bridging errors. A breakout board breaks out the three pins to standard 0.1" spacing for breadboard prototyping, eliminating the need for specialized soldering equipment and enabling fast circuit iteration with transistors, diodes, and small-signal components.
