Design a Custom Board8-bit parallel-in/serial-out shift register with synchronous parallel load capability. Features Schmitt-trigger inputs, buffered outputs, and TTL-compatible logic levels. Commonly used in data acquisition systems, LED matrix drivers, and serial-to-parallel conversion applications requiring parallel data capture and serial transmission.
The 1.27mm pin pitch on this 16-pin package makes hand-soldering impractical and breadboard mounting impossible. A breakout board brings the pins to standard 2.54mm spacing, enabling quick prototyping of RS-232/RS-485 transceivers, ADCs, and line drivers without requiring surface-mount soldering skills or PCB fabrication.
