Design a Custom Board6-axis inertial measurement unit integrating a 16-bit triaxial accelerometer (±2g to ±16g) and 16-bit triaxial gyroscope (±125dps to ±2000dps) with intelligent motion-triggered interrupts. Features configurable I2C and 10MHz SPI interfaces, 2KB FIFO, low power consumption (685µA typical), and advanced on-chip motion detection. Ideal for high-performance motion sensing in IoT, wearables, and robotics applications.
This 3x5mm LGA-14 package requires reflow soldering and features 0.8mm pitch pads underneath the component, making it impossible to breadboard directly or hand-solder reliably. A breakout board exposes all 14 pins to standard 2.54mm headers, enabling prototyping with I2C/SPI accelerometer and magnetometer modules while eliminating the need for surface-mount assembly skills.
