Design a Custom Board512-kilobit I²C serial EEPROM organized as 65,536 x 8 bytes with support for 100 kHz, 400 kHz, and 1 MHz data rates. Features 128-byte page write mode, write-protect pin, and ultra-low power consumption (3 mA active, 6 µA standby). Rated for 1,000,000 write cycles and 100-year data retention across the industrial temperature range.
An 8-pin SOIC with 1.27mm pitch is too fine for breadboards and hand-soldering without a microscope. A breakout board routes these pins to standard 0.1" headers, enabling rapid prototyping and reliable connections for op-amps, transceivers, and small power MOSFETs without requiring reflow equipment.
