The AP7361C is a 1A low-dropout linear regulator available in fixed 3.3V output configuration with enable control. It features 360mV typical dropout at 1A, 60µA quiescent current, and 75dB PSRR at 1kHz. Includes current-limit and thermal-shutdown protection; suitable for battery-powered devices, audio/video applications, and low-to-medium power systems.

Why does this need a breakout?
SOT-223 three-pin regulators and transistors are difficult to hand-solder due to tight 1.5mm pitch and heat-sinking requirements. A breakout board brings standard 0.1" header spacing, eliminating soldering challenges and enabling immediate breadboard prototyping without rework or micro-soldering tools.
