Ultra-low dropout (ULDO) linear regulator delivering 300mA at 5V with 250mV typical dropout at full load. Features excellent noise performance (75dB PSRR at 100Hz), 1µA standby current, and ±1% output accuracy. Includes overcurrent, overtemperature, and reverse-current protection with logic-controlled enable for battery-powered and RF-sensitive applications.

Why does this need a breakout?
SOT-23's tiny 0.95mm pin pitch and compact form factor make hand-soldering tedious and prone to bridging errors. A breakout board breaks out the three pins to standard 0.1" spacing for breadboard prototyping, eliminating the need for specialized soldering equipment and enabling fast circuit iteration with transistors, diodes, and small-signal components.
