Design a Custom Board3-axis MEMS accelerometer with selectable ±2g to ±16g range, communicating via I2C or SPI interfaces. Provides 13-bit resolution with low power consumption and includes integrated tap/double-tap detection and free-fall sensing. Suitable for motion sensing, gesture recognition, and activity monitoring applications.
This 3x5mm LGA-14 package requires reflow soldering and features 0.8mm pitch pads underneath the component, making it impossible to breadboard directly or hand-solder reliably. A breakout board exposes all 14 pins to standard 2.54mm headers, enabling prototyping with I2C/SPI accelerometer and magnetometer modules while eliminating the need for surface-mount assembly skills.
