HALL EFFECT CURRENT SENSOR 5A 8-SOIC

Bypass caps, pull-ups, strapping resistors, custom silkscreen & more
Design a Custom BoardHall-effect-based linear current sensor IC measuring AC or DC currents up to ±5A with 2.4kVRMS isolation. Outputs a proportional analog voltage (66-185mV/A) with ±1.5% accuracy and 80kHz bandwidth. Includes internal low-resistance copper conductor (1.2mΩ) and chopper-stabilized BiCMOS Hall circuit; typical applications include motor control, load detection, and overcurrent protection.
An 8-pin SOIC with 1.27mm pitch is too fine for breadboards and hand-soldering without a microscope. A breakout board routes these pins to standard 0.1" headers, enabling rapid prototyping and reliable connections for op-amps, transceivers, and small power MOSFETs without requiring reflow equipment.
