16-channel analog multiplexer/demultiplexer with single-pole 16-throw switching capability. Features four digital select inputs, 16 independent channels, and common I/O with enable control. Specified for automotive use (AEC-Q100 Grade 1) with operating range -40°C to +125°C, supply voltage 2.0-10.0V, and typical on-resistance of 60-80Ω depending on supply voltage.

Why does this need a breakout?
Hand-soldering 0.65mm pitch traces is difficult without proper equipment; a breakout board with standard 0.1in header spacing lets you breadboard-prototype and test these compact devices easily. Commonly used for I2C/SMBus I/O expanders and mixed-signal microcontrollers, this breakout eliminates fine-pitch soldering and allows rapid iteration during development.
