Operates from -40°C to 150°C with 12μA quiescent current, comprehensive protections (OTP, OCP, OVP, UVP, UVLO), and PFM mode for high light-load efficiency in compact 1.6×2.1mm SOT583 package.

Why does this need a breakout?
SOT-583-8 packages are extremely difficult to hand-solder due to their 0.5mm pin pitch and small form factor. A breakout board brings these 8 pins to standard 0.1" spacing, making prototyping with power management ICs like synchronous buck converters and power multiplexers feasible without specialized equipment.
