Enables 90-500W power supply designs with minimal external components and <75mW no-load consumption.

Why does this need a breakout?
The 1.27mm pin pitch on this 16-pin package makes hand-soldering impractical and breadboard mounting impossible. A breakout board brings the pins to standard 2.54mm spacing, enabling quick prototyping of RS-232/RS-485 transceivers, ADCs, and line drivers without requiring surface-mount soldering skills or PCB fabrication.
