Features low coupling capacitance (0.3 pF typical) and current transfer ratio groups ranging from 50-600%. Why does this need a breakout?
This Toshiba optocoupler's 1.27mm pitch and compact 4.4×3.6mm footprint make hand-soldering impractical and breadboard use impossible. A breakout board converts the SMD package to through-hole pins or larger pads, enabling rapid prototyping and reliable connections in isolation and control circuits without reflow equipment.
