Enhanced single-channel N-MOSFET high-side power distribution switch rated for 500 mA continuous current with active-low enable logic. Integrates overcurrent limiting, thermal shutdown protection, and reverse-current blocking for applications with heavy capacitive loads and short-circuit conditions. Operating range 2.7–5.5 V with 12 µA standby current and 8 kV ESD protection.

Why does this need a breakout?
This 0.95 mm pitch SMD package is incompatible with breadboards and difficult to hand-solder. A breakout board brings the five pins to standard 0.1″ spacing, enabling rapid prototyping without reflow equipment. Essential for evaluating precision analog ICs like current-sense amplifiers in development circuits.
