The SN74LV165A is a parallel-load 8-bit shift register designed for 2V to 5.5V operation with 10.5ns maximum propagation delay at 5V. It features eight parallel data inputs controlled by a shift/load pin, serial data input/output, clock inhibit function, and complemented outputs. Ideal for expanding microcontroller input capacity and low-power mixed-voltage applications.

Why does this need a breakout?
