Design a Custom BoardHalf-duplex CAN transceiver IC for automotive and industrial applications. Operates at 3.3V logic levels with integrated protection against ESD, overvoltage, and thermal stress. Supports standard CAN protocols with data rates up to 1 Mbps, featuring low-power sleep mode and robust bus fault tolerance for reliable vehicle and embedded system communications.
An 8-pin SOIC with 1.27mm pitch is too fine for breadboards and hand-soldering without a microscope. A breakout board routes these pins to standard 0.1" headers, enabling rapid prototyping and reliable connections for op-amps, transceivers, and small power MOSFETs without requiring reflow equipment.
