Honeywell nanopower magnetoresistive sensor IC with omnipolar sensing capability, detecting either north or south magnetic poles. Operates at 14G typical sensitivity with ultra-low 310nA average current consumption and 1.65-5.5V supply range. Push-pull output requires no pull-up resistor, ideal for battery-powered position detection and proximity sensing applications.

Why does this need a breakout?
SOT-23's tiny 0.95mm pin pitch and compact form factor make hand-soldering tedious and prone to bridging errors. A breakout board breaks out the three pins to standard 0.1" spacing for breadboard prototyping, eliminating the need for specialized soldering equipment and enabling fast circuit iteration with transistors, diodes, and small-signal components.
