Dual 12-bit buffered voltage output DAC with SPI interface operating from 2.7V to 5.5V single supply. Features rail-to-rail outputs, 4.5µs settling time, selectable 1x or 2x gain, and external voltage reference inputs. Supports simultaneous latching of both DAC channels via LDAC pin and includes shutdown mode for power management.

Why does this need a breakout?
Manual soldering of 1.27mm pitch SOIC-14 leads is tedious and error-prone; a breakout board eliminates this with pre-soldered pads and convenient 0.1-inch headers for breadboard prototyping. Ideal for developing capacitive touch sensor applications or other logic circuits without the fine-pitch assembly hassle.
