Delivers up to 600mA continuous current with 96% peak efficiency and includes integrated MOSFETs eliminating external Schottky diodes. Features 25µA quiescent current in burst mode, programmable oscillator (300kHz-2MHz), and <1µA shutdown, ideal for portable battery-powered applications like handhelds and digital cameras.

Why does this need a breakout?
The 0.5mm pin pitch makes hand soldering impractical without specialized equipment, and the tiny 3x3mm footprint cannot connect directly to breadboards. A breakout board brings these pins to standard 0.1-inch spacing, enabling rapid prototyping of analog-to-digital converters, boost controllers, and audio switches without reflow soldering or custom PCBs.
