Positive adjustable linear voltage regulator in DPAK package capable of supplying over 500 mA output current. Output voltage is adjustable from 1.2 V to 37 V using a simple resistive divider network. Features include excellent line and load regulation (0.01% and 0.1% typical), thermal overload protection, short-circuit protection, and floating operation capability for high-voltage applications.

Why does this need a breakout?
TO-252 power MOSFETs require careful hand-soldering due to the large drain tab and tight 4.56mm lead spacing, making a breakout board essential for reliable prototyping. This board converts the package to breadboard-compatible headers and standard 0.1-inch pitch, eliminating soldering risk and enabling rapid circuit iteration for power switching applications.
