Design a Custom BoardThe BME680 is a compact 4-in-1 environmental sensor integrating gas, humidity, pressure, and temperature measurement in a 3.0×3.0mm LGA-8 package. It communicates via I2C or SPI and features low power consumption suitable for battery-powered devices. Typical applications include indoor air quality monitoring, home automation, IoT environmental sensing, and navigation systems.
LGA-8 packages with 1.25mm pad pitch are too small and densely packed for hand soldering or breadboard prototyping. A breakout board brings pads to standard 0.1-inch headers, enabling prototyping with I2C/SPI sensors and filters without reflow equipment. Essential for rapid development with pressure sensors, accelerometers, and EMI inductors.
