ATtiny44A is a low-power 8-bit AVR microcontroller with 4KB flash, 256B EEPROM, and 256B SRAM. Features include a 10-bit ADC with 8 single-ended and 12 differential channels, two timers with PWM, and a universal serial interface. Operating voltage ranges from 1.8V to 5.5V with speeds up to 20MHz, ideal for embedded control and sensor applications requiring minimal power consumption.

Why does this need a breakout?
Manual soldering of 1.27mm pitch SOIC-14 leads is tedious and error-prone; a breakout board eliminates this with pre-soldered pads and convenient 0.1-inch headers for breadboard prototyping. Ideal for developing capacitive touch sensor applications or other logic circuits without the fine-pitch assembly hassle.
