Design a Custom BoardATtiny167 is a low-power 8-bit AVR microcontroller with 16KB flash memory, 512 bytes SRAM, and 512 bytes EEPROM. It features a LIN 2.1/1.3 controller or UART, dual timer/counters with PWM, SPI/USI interfaces, 10-bit ADC with 11 single-ended or 8 differential channels, and operates from 1.8-5.5V with internal 8MHz oscillator. Ideal for automotive LIN-based applications, IoT nodes, and embedded control requiring low power consumption.
The 1.27mm pin pitch makes hand-soldering this 20-pin SOIC challenging and error-prone. A breakout board brings all pins to standard 0.1" spacing, enabling reliable breadboard prototyping and simplifying development of USB-to-UART interfaces without requiring reflow soldering or specialized equipment.
