The AP7361C is a 1A adjustable and fixed-output linear regulator with ultra-low dropout (360mV typical at 1A) and enable pin control. It operates from 2.2V to 6V input with adjustable output from 0.8V to 5.0V or fixed options from 1.0V to 3.3V. Features 60µA quiescent current, current-limit and thermal-shutdown protection, making it ideal for battery-powered, audio, video, and portable computing applications.

Why does this need a breakout?
SOT-89-5 packages feature tight 1.27 mm pin pitch and small form factor unsuitable for breadboards or hand soldering without specialized equipment. A breakout board brings standard 0.1 inch headers and larger pads, enabling quick prototyping of LDO regulators and other small outline devices without rework risk or microscope-level soldering.
