Adjustable precision shunt regulator with 1% tolerance and excellent temperature stability. Programmable output voltage from 2.5V to 20V using external divider resistors, with 50μA to 100mA current sink capability and low output noise. Ideal for voltage regulation, monitoring, and overvoltage protection in switch-mode power supplies and precision analog circuits.

Why does this need a breakout?
SOT-23's tiny 0.95mm pin pitch and compact form factor make hand-soldering tedious and prone to bridging errors. A breakout board breaks out the three pins to standard 0.1" spacing for breadboard prototyping, eliminating the need for specialized soldering equipment and enabling fast circuit iteration with transistors, diodes, and small-signal components.
