The TLV761 is a fixed-output linear voltage regulator supporting 2.5V to 18V input and 0.8V to 13V output (100mV steps) at up to 1A. It features ±1% output accuracy, low 60µA quiescent current, high 60dB PSRR at 1kHz, and foldback current limiting. Stable with minimal ceramic capacitors, ideal for appliances, motor drives, and HVAC systems.

Why does this need a breakout?
SOT-223 three-pin regulators and transistors are difficult to hand-solder due to tight 1.5mm pitch and heat-sinking requirements. A breakout board brings standard 0.1" header spacing, eliminating soldering challenges and enabling immediate breadboard prototyping without rework or micro-soldering tools.
