Provides output voltage from 2.5 to 36V with sink current capability of 1 to 100mA and typical impedance of 0.22Ω. Operates over -40°C to +125°C temperature range, suitable for power supplies and automotive applications.

Why does this need a breakout?
SOT-23's tiny 0.95mm pin pitch and compact form factor make hand-soldering tedious and prone to bridging errors. A breakout board breaks out the three pins to standard 0.1" spacing for breadboard prototyping, eliminating the need for specialized soldering equipment and enabling fast circuit iteration with transistors, diodes, and small-signal components.
