Provides inverted data outputs with independent output-enable controls (OE1, OE2) for bus interface capability. Operates at 4.5-5.5V with 12ns typical propagation delay and 6mA output drive, suitable for driving up to 15 LSTTL loads or system buses.

Why does this need a breakout?
The 1.27mm pin pitch makes hand-soldering this 20-pin SOIC challenging and error-prone. A breakout board brings all pins to standard 0.1" spacing, enabling reliable breadboard prototyping and simplifying development of USB-to-UART interfaces without requiring reflow soldering or specialized equipment.
