Precision bandgap voltage reference with 0.4% accuracy and 5 ppm/°C temperature coefficient. Delivers up to 30 mA output current while consuming only 45 μA supply current, with low dropout operation from supplies as low as 100 mV above output. Features sleep mode, short-circuit protection, and laser-trimmed thin-film resistors for stable analog circuit biasing in portable instruments, data acquisition systems, and sensor applications.

Why does this need a breakout?
An 8-pin SOIC with 1.27mm pitch is too fine for breadboards and hand-soldering without a microscope. A breakout board routes these pins to standard 0.1" headers, enabling rapid prototyping and reliable connections for op-amps, transceivers, and small power MOSFETs without requiring reflow equipment.
