High-efficiency step-up DC/DC converter with 1MHz fixed frequency operation and adjustable output voltage from 2.5V to 5.0V. Provides up to 1A output current with internal 0.10Ω N-channel MOSFET and 0.15Ω P-channel rectifier. Features pulse-skip mode for light-load efficiency, programmable current limiting, soft-start, and comprehensive protection including over-voltage, over-temperature, and hiccup-mode short protection.

Why does this need a breakout?
The 0.65mm pitch and tiny 3×3mm form factor make hand soldering challenging and impractical for breadboard prototyping. A breakout board converts this compact SMD package into a standard header layout, enabling reliable connections and rapid iteration without specialized soldering equipment or rework risk.
