Design a Custom BoardLow-dropout linear regulator providing 100 mA at 5V with ±2.0% output accuracy and 60 µA quiescent current. Features 500 mV maximum dropout at full load, operates from 4.5V to 45V input, and includes internal protection against reverse polarity, overcurrent, and thermal overload. Suitable for automotive and industrial applications requiring AEC-Q100 qualification.
SOT-223 three-pin regulators and transistors are difficult to hand-solder due to tight 1.5mm pitch and heat-sinking requirements. A breakout board brings standard 0.1" header spacing, eliminating soldering challenges and enabling immediate breadboard prototyping without rework or micro-soldering tools.
