Design a Custom BoardCMOS low-dropout (LDO) regulator delivering 250 mA at 5V output with only 2.0 µA quiescent current. Features 625 mV typical dropout voltage, ±0.4% output tolerance, and input range of 2.7V to 16V, making it ideal for battery-powered applications including microcontroller power supplies and portable devices. Includes overcurrent and overtemperature protection with stable operation using ceramic capacitors.
SOT-89-3 is too small and has leads too close together to hand-solder reliably or plug into breadboards. A breakout board spaces the three pins to standard 0.1" pitch, making it compatible with solderless prototyping and eliminating the need for fine-pitch soldering skills. Essential for rapid development with voltage regulators, transistors, and other common three-terminal devices.
