SOT-353 packages feature 0.65mm pin pitch and tiny 1.9×2.7mm dimensions, making hand soldering and breadboarding impractical. A breakout board converts these compact leads to standard headers or through-holes, enabling reliable prototyping of analog sensors, op-amps, and voltage regulators without specialized equipment or microscopy.
